The vertical slats, when pulled back will be stacked at the side of your windows. They can either all be stacked at one side or split between two sides.
Our fitter can advise if vertical blinds are the best option, it may be that your windows would be better suited venetian blinds or roller blinds that would give you more space.
Even with dim-out or black out fabrics, due to the nature of vertical blinds, light may leak from between the slats. For a better blackout effect, try pairing with curtains
